Don't raise your expectations with these...

Foot-in-the-mouth claim? When Subway's slogan just does not ad up...

There's this funny AFP story carried by xin.msn about Subway being sued for not living up to its advertised "Foot-long" sandwich promise:

As the story is told, a keen-eyed Australian had discovered earlier this month that his "Foot-long" measured only 11 (28 cm), and not 12 inches (30.5 cm). After that, in what appeared to be the first related lawsuit, two men filed a complaint on Tuesday in the US state of New Jersey, alleging that Subway deliberately and systematically shortens its sandwiches to 11 or 11.5 inches.

Self-raising flour? Yeah, right, I'd like to see that happen...

I watched and waited, but nothing happened. So, taking the cue from the two New Jersey men, can we also complain about a similar "falsehood in advertising" here?

---------------------------------------------------------

Yet another funny ad spotted: What happens after the first stick?...

From what I gather, the advertised product is a chocolate-coated pretzel stick biscuit similar to Pocky. I'll leave it to your imagination what happens next between this couple.

And a kiss is still a kiss, any which way?

Finally, sex always catches one's attention...

I almost missed this story above, in today's Mind Your Body supplement in ST. But the deck heading caught my eye, and my curiosity was whetted. So, here's the interesting part...
