Unis. Hello, they are called 'Seats of higher learning', not 'Seeds of higher learning'!
There are issues pregnant with import being debated in Parliament, and yet a story that has caught the fancy of many is this one above -- a tizzy over selling condoms at NUS! (And did you notice there's an NUS Confessions Facebook page? Very Catholic.)
ST went to town with it, putting it on the cover of its Home page, complete with those choice words circled above. Kerfuffle? Gosh, how many people even know such a word exists? But this cartoon strip does:
(Actually, it's a favourite word among sub-editors, along with words like snafu and tizzy. But you have to do your own homework if you are curious about the meaning of "kerfuffle".)
