Assorted 'oddities'...
Thanks, Nick, for spotting this oddity, above. I wonder what one will find on an odd floor of this building (as opposed to an odd-numbered floor). Maybe this family below, the Risers, each with his own name-plate on the door?...
Mr Telecom Riser (the guy in the middle) must be very thin. Passing by a sports shop, I spied this notice:
Since the sign did not specifically say it was linked to the golf club on display, I asked the sales assistant, "What kind of 'swinging' are you referring to?" Clearly not a child of the Swinging Sixties, he seemed nonplussed but had a good laugh when I pointed out the double-entendre meaning.
At the food court was this sign:
The stall had not yet opened for business when I took the pic but it appears to be the new outlet of a chain known for the skilled use of scissors to cut up the food items in front of customers. Aiyah, then the sign needs a hyphen: "Scissor-cut curry rice".
As for this ad above, no one will raise an eyebrow if a pest-buster service is being offtered. But a pest-man? What service is he offering? Is he the solution or is he the problem?

Finally, this one below is not really an oddity but it's good for a beep! beep! laugh:
