A headline, a handshake, headgear... and a hamstrung 'pivot'?

Still on headlines, I felt this one was misleading (for that matter, the story's introduction too)...


What were the countries surveyed? These six...



So, on the basis of a survey of just those six countries, the rest of the Asia-Pacific -- including Singapore, Australia, Japan, etc -- was implicated?

This picture caption also puzzled me:


Was Mr Rogge pointing to Mr Bach? It looks like he was reaching out to shake the other man's hand!

This next headline is fine. So is the story. I am just glad that in Singapore -- and in fact, within the ASEAN region -- the Sikh community is well-integrated (so well that my friend Bilveer Singh and I have no qualms trading "Sikh jokes"!)...
