A snapshot of the US' right and left political divide...

As an observer of international politics, I am aware that domestic politics can also impact on foreign policy even if ultimately state actors are guided by Realist principles. And certainly, the "left" and "right" in American public opinion have not disappointed observers with regard to the recent Russo-US "diplomatic breakthrough" over Syria.
