Salivating facts...

I read somewhere that in our lifetime, we will produce enough saliva to fill two swimming pools (Olympic-sized, I presume). That's assuring because this AFP story below, in insing.com, says only good things about saliva...

The story begins with: "If your baby drops a pacifier on the floor, a new study suggests that rather than cleaning it, you stick it in your own mouth and hand it right back to your child. New research suggests the practice could help reduce allergies as your baby grows."
