Did you notice?...

This cheeky ad by Scoot...

Very clever!

The long lines at Subway outlets today (Oct 10)...

There was a one-for-one promo and, like all bargain-hunting Singaporeans, I could not resist such a deal. I was at the outlet near my home at 11.15 am, so there was no crowd. But I saw a very, very long line at the Bukit Panjang Plaza outlet around dinner-time (no, I was not at BPP to have another go at Subway's). I am sure people were happy with their Subway meals today. Apparently, some -- on another occasion -- were reduced to tears:

Notice the item below the Subway one? It reads: "Giant pandas learn how to 'chope' tables like Singaporeans at Sentosa". Hmm, Kai Kai and Jia Jia will be here for 10 years, so they might as well get used to our way of life. These two foreign talent are integrating well. Meanwhile, in China...

It looks like a panda, it walks like a panda, but is it a panda?

The Chinese take the job of looking after baby giant (eh?) pandas seriously, so much so that the sanctuary workers will dress up like pandas. Were the Real McPandas fooled? Read this insing.com story (click on the embedded video too):

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, then it must be a nuclear duck (?)

If you are puzzled by the above, read this funny BBC commentary below:

Lastly, I am posting here without comments these two reactions (one in TODAY, the other in insing.com) to the Amy Cheong saga:
