Unfettered, they believed they could, and they did!

We saw the Iraqi movie Bekas -- about two orphaned Kurdish street children trying to keep alive their dream of going to Superman's America so he can help them rid their country of the Saddam regime and bring back to life their parents -- and it was as the reviewers had promised: whimsical yet deeply evocative. The two boy actors were simply natural and superb. They were "super".

I'll like to dedicate today's blog entry to young people out there who follow their curiosity and passion to keep questing, and who refuse to accept that only the adults know best...
